Voted ... but still problems with slideshow and sequencing on 'Next' image ... :thinking:

Neither show all pics and are quite frustrating when trying to view all pics in sequence ...:suspect:
 
Well, it's the last round in this format Rog. Hopefully we (read Bod) will get it all sorted out for the new format comp. It's very impressive looking this version of Gallery, but it is a bit quirky to deal with in some respects.
 
So do we vote for one image by clicking on vote in the gallery or send a pm with the three images we like the most as per the rules?

Sorry for the silly question, just not sure what to do :)

Agree with you ... cannot fault the gallery itself ... is really cool ... just a few teething problems is all ... :p

Only bringing it up because it does affect viewing for voting a tad ... :D

You vote by clicking on the pic of your choice Matt. You only get one vote. We know folks aren't entirely happy with this, but it's something we'll be addressing for the next round. :)
 
Thats fine, I thought as much but the rules in the stickied thread mention a pm with favorite three pictures ;)

I found it quite amusing. watched a slideshow of 20 images and still didn't get to see 2 of the entries that way :)
 
Ahh sorry Darksaber, the rules that have just been stuck in the competition forum, are the new rules...For the new format competition starting on the 1st August.

My fault really, I told Matty to put the thread up early...lol
 
Only just managed to log on tonite had trouble for some reason all day, I've sent my pic but I assume its too late now...neh mind :shrug:

i didnt move the old one as i thought it was too early, but just moved the new ones in without thinking, as usual....
 
ahh don't worry about it, I did wonder if that was maybe the case but checked the thread date and it was from 2005 so I discounted it as being the rules for the new format :P

That pic should actually be No4. Gallery wouldn't accept it as it was over 160kb and I had to resize it.Thereafter for some strange reason Gallery insisted on calling it '41'
 
After much deliberation it's been decided to admit three entries which were received after the published deadline of 8pm yesterday. If these new entries affect your choice in any way then you're free to alter your vote in Gallery if you wish to do so.

This is the collective decision of staff and was taken in view of what could be construed as conflicting info re. the deadline for entry. :)

lol if it hurts as much as your 'Bods cocked up and needs to be beaten to learn his lesson' stick, then I'm definately gonna get my entry in on time,.....it bloody hurts.
 
i looked at the entries when they were posted, and voted, and ive just looked again and see that one of the late-allowed entries is doing very well. Its a shame that not all of those members have taken the time that thank the admin people for allowing the potentially round winning shots to be entered

Seriously, it was a simple mistake by everyone (including us) that's all, so it was fair we let them enter. Everyone's happy :) We don't need thanking :)

Well I thought all the pics were supposed to be annoy ... annon ... anomin ... ooh I mean secret, hence theres no public thanks going around!

oooh....I'm so happy...having a bit of trouble on an egotistical photo site in www land and then I come to this lovely friendly place and find this out....wonderful news. I love Glo's interpretation of the subject, I am very happy that we both won! Congratulations to Ken and Matty too! :) Thanks to all who voted for me :)
