Anyone using these and if so how do you rate them?

I'm really tempted to give these a go, I've seen some video and they look interesting, they cost more than the standard cheap LED lights but then again they are only £280 which isn't bad I guess.

Hi jase what video's have you watched?

Was it Jason Lanier by any chance?

I brought a neo of the back of watching Jason lanier's video I very quickly realised that these haven't got anywhere enough power in daylight unless you have the light almost on the models nose.

I covered a wedding last November and I found it very useful for the detail shots but that's a lot of money to spend just for limited use.

I've yet to get out and give it a try in low light using a model, I keep meaning to but just haven't the time hopefully I'll be able to soon.

Probably not very helpful but thought I would just say.

It's been various one, mainly official I guess but I have seen the Jason Lanier ones, actually if anything put me off it was him, I used to like his videos but he's way too commercial now, he dislikes something one day and loves it later.

I just liked the idea of continuous lighting and the different modes etc. Maybe I'll wait until a camera show so I can try for myself without buying first.
