Hello. Have already been browsing around the site for the last few days & it looks a really good forum, so thought I'd finally register. :)

Have been interested in photography since young childhood when I used to walk around with a camera for panoramic shots, one for close-ups, my favourite camera & another one "in case". I took some great shots of knees & door handles...

I prefer landscape / animal / unposed photos, but will do portraiture if pushed. Am photographing my cousin's wedding in March so any hints / tips on that would be very much appreciated!

Look forward to chatting with you all.

:)

Plenty of room Anita, welcome to TP. :D

I have no hints or tips for you but i am sure someone will point you in the right direction soon.

Best wishes
Cliff

Always room for another, take the 15th corridoor on the left, keep going untill you get to the Jaffacake supply room. If Marcel is dribbling then change his bib and face him back in the corner again :suspect: Keep on till you reach the Pink room (Dont ask :shake: ) Take the lift down to -32 and you have arrived  Standing room only though  Welcome to TP Anita.
Ps. It`s a hell hole in here :gag: They run a tight forum with real stricty kinds of rules :( We have to be kind to people and not argue. How I wish I was back in that other room with quilted wall to wall padding

Jaffa Cakes, you say? I think I'll like it here.

This tome containing in excess of 900,000 pages - is this really the rule book? It's all in 8pt font, too. Thank goodness it has its own wheels.

helps replies with those .............

Hmm..well, I'm from Cambridgeshire - a wee village just outside it that Time is struggling to remember. We have running water - it's the river in the woods beyond. Broadband is an amazing 2mb (Feel the Power! yes! I know you're jealous) and we have a coffee shop in the village that opens every 3rd Monday as long as Maud doesn't need her hair doing.

System-wise, I have a Nikon D50 that's getting on a bit now. It's 5 years old & has taken some ridiculous amount of pictures. I'm gradually putting the feelers out with regards to upgrading, but not sure to what yet. Something Nikony anyway.

We have black squirrels 'round 'ere, too. :) Have yet to see one whilst I have my camera on me, however. The little blighters know when it's in the vicinity and scarper.
