Roofbox Question

Put my roofbox on last night - all good and the bars are fitted as per instructions (i.e 500mm from front of rail, 700mm gap). But to my eye, the roof box is very slightly angled up (it could be an optical trick as the car roof slops). Google doesnt seem to offer much help . Concerned that may put undue stress on the setup (remember when you put hand out of car window and angle hand up/down like a wing?). I have checked the side lip with a spirit level and that is level so am thinking it must be more of an opitical trick.

If I was to nudge the bars forward a little the front bar would be a tad lower and the rear one a tad higher but this will mean its less than 500mm from front.

Does it level off with the car fully loaded?
 
When I had a roof box I always used to position it so that I could open the car door stand on the door sill and access the box. I doubt moving it forwards a bit is going to cause any problem. The bulk of the force is pushing the box backwards due to the frontal area but it is likely to be a bit more streamline of the front is down rather than up and so may save a bit of fuel.
 
Oh well. All fine in end. Moved forward 5cm and did the trip to Cornwall. No issues!
