There were comments made about the polish being more hard working.

I never mentioned anything about deportation-just controlling more tightly who we do and do not let in. If you could point me in the direction where I said deport people as their taking all the jobs innit it would be helpful

As indeed they are - they are significantly harder working than the segment of british socirey you describe as scum . (course there may be an indolent lazy section of polish society too, but if so by definition they are too lazy and indolent to bother migrating)

I was not making a judgement, merely saying this could be what gets people's backs up. Using the example of fruit puckers which this post is about. I know that without skilled labour coming over we would probably not have enough nurses for example and would guess they are all paid the same. However, I know for a fact that eastern euro labour is driving wages down in some parts of east anglia. It may not be illegal but if wages were £10 per hour and is now £8 then it is having an effect. Many do work cash in hand too.
 
Although given that even at NMW you'd get a sight more a week than £72.40 , the lowering of wages shouldnt be a detterent to the british unemployed taking the jobs

The point is we need to make those that choose not to work, to work. Then there will be less need for foregin migrant workers. Its a simple concept, one I thought, well within your grasp.

I thought so too. However, UKIP have very low following in Scotland. And that criminal record may even prevent him from legally standing. That's all very unfortunate. :(

If you truly think that pulling out of EU will help fighting non-EU, illegal migrants over in France I am completely baffled. Obviously stopping any ferries and train services between UK and France would sort of help until migrants pull out inflatables boats. I expect to see a reply along the lens of

We wouldn't constrained by European rights and courts and could shoot the illegals etc on sight. Word would get out, try to get into Britain illegally, its the last thing you'll do.

If I lived near Dover, I would gladly assist the shooting of migrant rafts trying to invade our country.

Don't then. Its Britain and people can vote how they want. I'll vote Tory, or UKIP. How can Britain be a prison - if you do not like it here, you are free to go, as I am, if another country's immigration policies would allow me.

Think the issue is that you can earn ok money on benefits. If you know the system you can be probably almost as well off as someone on mw.

I have to be honest, if I could earn say 12k on benefits or 18k working the 12k would be tempting (family time etc)

Can you please explain why people coming here illegally, by hiding in lorries, storming ferries as they leave france etc shouldn't be killed. They are invading our country, it is an act of war and shouldn't be dealt with as such.

Have you see the footage where they cut the fences and try and get onto the Eurotunnel trains. These people will stop at nothing to come here, we have to act decisively to stop this, and shooting them is this.

The people that hide in lorries, cut the fences to illegally hide on the trains to come to Britain, who circumvent ALL legal application processes to come here. These people are capable of hiding in Lorries, scaling cutting fences, storming ferries, you think these illegal immigrants are nice people. I tell you what they are, they are lawless and capable of anything and demonstrate they will stop at nothing to come to Britain. They do not care about legal processes to come here, they just wanna get here. I tell you something for free, thats warfare in my view and we need to do everything we can to stop illegal immigrants coming here. Shoot them on site without question.

Do I think they are nice people? I suspect they're a lot nicer than you. I'd rather spend my time with someone illegally attempting to cross a border than a willing proponent of illegal mass murder.

You would want to spend time with people who cut fences to break into trains, try and stop lorries to hide in them, storm ferries. Be my guest. I won't stop you but this isn't illegal mass murder, not once we are away from the EU.

When people come to your country illegally to take from it, that is invasion, they are invading it. To deal with invaders you kill them, or engage in war.

PS

If I wanted to go to live in another country, I would apply for a VISA and wait and see what the outcome of that application was. Not stow away in the hope I can get in illegally. Maybe that is just me though.
