Roman 'documents' found in London dig

I heard a news bulletin that the oldest and biggest find of Roman documents had been unearthed in London and that the oldest was dated 57AD

Now likely just me but the standard of reporting does throw too many howlers...............I do not doubt the item dated from 57AD but dated 57AD ! To state/report it that way is just plain daft

Could have been a typo (they can happen all too easily!!! ) missing out the "to" after the "dated" or the newsreader may have dropped it. Then again, I would have thought tha these days they would have said CE rather than AD.
