Hey. Some of you will know that I recently purchased a 3.5e. Whilst running my first roll through it I was unhappy about the focusing.
I sent it to Brian Mickleboro who confirmed it needed attention and that the shutter speeds were out.

I've just taken delivery after the repair..

IT FEELS AND OPERATES LIKE NEW

Thanks Brian £85 well spent. I just know it'll give years of service, just need it to stop raining....
 
Superb. My 3.5F feels okay but IMO I think it could do with a bit of TLC, and that sounds like a very reasonable price. What work was done, just a conventional TLC or was there any actual repairs done to it?

And how long was the turnaround?

Fast turnaround, just over a week. Don't have a detailed job sheet. (might still be in the box, check later)
It's obviously been cleaned, much brighter view.
Not sure if it had to be re shimmed to fix the focus. But it now focuses as it should..previously out when on the infinity stop.

Sounds excellent. I was thinking of sending it to Miles, but someone who is renowned for their Rollei work was the ideal choice really and fast turnaround seals the deal really. Thanks for the feedback Trevor, and that wonderful 3.5E should give you a lot of joy :thumbs:
