I am sure that many people do stuff for charity as they believe it's right and want to help, but also have skeletons... Kray twins were very charitable! I don't think many think it balances, they are separate things.

The STUFF that goes on in this world.......we are in the norm oblivious too. Corruption is rife and it involves POWER, SEX or MONEY a combination that corrupts people. Its not old and there is only ONE cure for ALL of it!

On the otherhand andrea davison has been convicted of a boiler room scam , so it is entirely possible that she's full of s*** and the "persecution by the establisment" is a load of b*****ks conspiracuy theory put forth as a smokescreen to her criminal activities (fraudsters are by definition plausible liars after all)

but those are conspirascy theorist sites - personally i'll believe it when i see it reported in a medium that deserves some credence.

Chances are that she's weaving some truth with an awful lot of fiction - quite possibly she was involved in a SIS investigation and yes terrorists may well have had involvement with child pornography (god knows they dirty their hands with enough other crime to fund their activities) , but all the stuff about her persecution by the state sounds like bolocks to me .. she wanted for 26 charges relating to fraudulent activity - that's why she's in south america. Also that original link asks people to donate to her defence fund... which sounds like more fraud to me, why does she need a defence fund if she's not in custody ?

Does rather give the feel of someone who has an axe to grind against certain political figures, after all - why wait until now to push the story.

My other feeling is that in the last days of the News of the World, and since then in the Sun, certain stories have come out about people, that were probably being kept.
They had a huge database of stories gained from various sources, some illegal, and if there was anything publishable it would have come out by now.

There's a lot less need to prove guilt in a newspaper story that would sell copy, after all, a printed apology, perhaps a small payment (in terms of copies sold)

(alledgely it was on Channel 4s bed - though personally I somehow doubt he decided to slip her a cheeky finger with a film crew, various production staff, and his wife watching...
