So after seeing Mark's (Cuthbert) pics on here using one of these, I thought I'd give it a whirl.

Good solid product, packs flat and the diffusion panel turns it into a pseudo soft box (it has an extra diffusion layer to minimise a hot spot where it meets the flash head).

Unfortunately for me it arrived after a horrendous night shift and I'd been up for over 24 hours - obviously gave it a quick whirl hampered by no suitable subjects and my arm length (hand holding SB900 and D800 in each respective hand) which led to focal length related distortion....... However enough excuses for my poor photo - the flash bender looks very promising on first use and will post more when I take some more - after more sleep!!

I was looking at this as I've been playing around with flash photography and feel I need to replace the bit of cardboard that I use as a flag.

I was thinking of getting another one for use with my speedlights when i light my backgrounds. I'd also be able to use it as a snoot - as first impressions go, I'm very pleased with it.
