Yes
Im off for 5 days rockpooling and aimless wandering up Crail near Fife with the wife.

I have naturally paired it down to the RB67with spare 120 back (Velvia slide film) and the Nikon FM2n with a 50mm lens

:-)

Have a great trip, also, wandering is never aimless when you have a Nikon (or a Mamiya)!

Rockpooling is class and great for photo opportunities I think... Like little mini landscapes in front of your eyes.

Sounds like great way to spend a few days

No one seems to bother with pond weed e.g. in Canals...well I enjoy the results. (y)

Well all packed up, blimey the RB67 is heavy even in a well packed rucky...

Also got a few films stashed, will try a roll of new Portra 160 in the FM2 as well as a test.

Sounds great. The wind is blowing in off the North Sea at the moment so wrap up warm. :)

Paul, you will enjoy the results from Portra a very good film, giving lovely colour. Enjoy the trip and make sure we get the glass of beer with your great bokah background,it is now your signature shot. :)

I was there in September last year and stayed in Pittenweem for a couple of days - I can recommend a great B&B if you need one. We had a superb time and its a very nice coastline up there. I took the Hasselblad and used FP4 and Portra and finished off a roll of Velvia. I used 11 1/2 rolls (nine FP4 and two Portra and half a roll of Velvia) so take plenty of film!

Now thats a lot of film! I must be doing something wrong:)

Well arrived all well, fantastic hot evening, a few cheeky ones on the Golf hotel than ran a roll of Velvia through the RB67.
Now off for smoked sausage and chips :-)

IIRC the best fish and chip shop in the planet is in Pittenweem... or is it Anstruther?

I ate there in September last year and it was good. The one in Pittenweem was good as well.

We had lunch in a pub in Anstruther a few years ago, we ordered fishfingers for the youngster and when they came they were homemade and the size of a small car...and there were 6 of them. I had a plaice you could have used as a tennis court (which was swimming about 6 hours earlier) and the waitress then brought a bowl of chips which must have been the size of Anglesey, plus about 6 rounds of bread and butter. I think the lot came to about a tenner.

Its all good, the weather here was a bit rainy up to 3pm so we chilled out and caught up on some downloads 2x episodes of revolution and some film jack ryan... anyway the rain stopped and we wandered down to the rock pools :) i ran a whole roll of portra 160 on the FM2n it was great. Tomorrow looks better weather so i have loaded a roll of Velvia 100F happy days :)

we went along to that two years ago when we last came up, absolutely mobbed, must have been a queue of 100.

had to go get some from up the road, they were bloomin good as well, i think its pretty hard to get bad fish here.

Cod and chips for me twice, the wife eats as well, I will send you my address. :)

Shot 3 rolls today super sunny :-)

Rockpooling? Better not tell you I spotted a Nikonos in LCE in town a few days back!!!

Hopefully the weather will hold for a bit, I will be north of the border by mid afternoon tomorrow. I will, however not be dressing like that ^^^ :D:eek:

I came home through Crail today as it happens.

East Neuk has a fair variety going for it when it comes to photography.

Walking down the coast down to Anstruther about 4.5 miles tomorrow.
Got the FM2n loaded with Provia 100F and a Neopan 100 BW in the bag :-)
