Rockingham

Going to Rockingham next weekend. Have Media Pass - wondering where to consider for locations - presume Tarzan hairpin - but where else?

Have a total of 8 15 minute sessions to shoot - 2 practise sessions - 2 races - 2 days. Need preferably 4 different locations, possibly more.

Am also considering hiring a lens - not sure what to choose. Already use a Sigma 100-300 f4 EX, but keen on trying something else - eg Canon L zoom or prime. Any suggestions?

rockingham isn't great for photography unless you have a super-duper-ultra-long-very-zoomy zoom. Not sure from the media side, but there isn't much in the way of spectacting areas apart from grandstands and the top of the pits.

not really

Went last year as normal spectator so know that the top of the pits, exit onto banking and through fence at Tarzan.

This year I'm shooting for a regional newspaper and Rockingham have said yes to a media pass.
