Robust Netbook ???

Looking for a fairly robust netbook for my grandchildren to use - whilst they are old enough to use it, it can't be too fragile (last one has been rendered unuseable!). I'm not passing on my Panasonic Toughbook so do you know of anything a bit substantial ... grandchild proof that won't break the bank?

Any netbook to which you can fit a Speck hardcase shell or something similar, Speck even make carbon fibre shells
