No
Sunday at 8 BBC 2

I used to watch it in the 90s, will be good to see what has changed/improved with better RC systems today and FPV if allowed.
Since I don't have a television, I'll go to my bro-in-law's as he like that sort of thing too.

:-)

No Craig Charles though, I wonder why, I always liked his ott presenting in the old series. I'm not sure it'll be the same without him

I always thought they should allow chemical weapons. Small robot with drill attaches itself to a big robot, drills a small hole, squirts in some petrol and ignites it.

Not to mention the fun that could be had with nail guns

Against the rules. Both counts

I wonder if they have the same rules as old, of signing away all commercial rights.
Should be good though to have it back, see how things have progressed as the robot wars have been carrying on, just not on to.

I similarly wondered about using a clamp & drilling a hole..........then squirting that expanding foam into it.
Not sure that would set fast enough? Salty water might short the electrics out and would certainly stop them coming back for a rematch

Thee was a match where a team went out with a cardboard box attached against a spinner. It had a net inside which tangled the spinner. Declared void and the match was restarted.

Well I'm impressed with this reboot, sounds like Craig Charles is giving a running commentary during the fights, feels like the 90s series but updated

pretty good - my 20 year old son was into it when he was 6_ took him to a live show. Good light entertainment

It was entertaining - I'm glad I watched

I'm surprised at how well they did with the reboot. Dara O'briain seemed an odd choice but I thought he was great "So tell me, do you like jigsaws?"

Well worth a watch.

Surprised that Razor was allowed back in though (great robot but I really want an evolution) and also at the stupid rookie mistake they made........

It's Jonathan Pearce commentating, same as the original series.

I liked it, the new 4 way fight and league table format is good. The crowd noise seemed very subdued though and there didn't seem to be a lot of audience excitement ? Not sure if the crowd was smaller or not miked up as before.
