Robbie

So come on.......are you really a RW disciple ?

Is that a "yes" or a "no", you'd have been NINE when it was at number one

Oh yes I remember it.

I have one of those memories plus it was one of those songs that hung around for ages at junior school disco's etc etc.

I actually remember that song from a school I was at which I left aged 10 so I did know it 'at the time'

Anyway  what's memory got to do with anything

Some say they were at Woodstock - I was at 'Shut your face' ?

You gotta no respect! :D

He is the best singer/entertainer in the world today and its a fact

Oooft I am shocked to hear someone say this that isnt a 17 year old girl! ;):naughty: He is good but as a cabaret singer.

I agree with Dark Star, Thom York is a great singer, I'm addicted to "Hearing Damage" right now. I would also rate Keith Flint over Robbie as well.

The best male entertainer I would have to say was Robert Plant, he knew how to get a crowd going and I when I saw him a few years ago he still did! Bowie comes a close second.

Don't be silly.

Its Rolf Harris. Has Glastonbury eating out of his hand everytime.

When Robbie comes on, it's loo break time.

Can't decide if this is a serious post, or some hormonal 14 year old girl has hacked into DM's account?! :)

Joe Dolce was the reason for one of the biggest travesties in pop history ... it was he who kept Ultravox's "Old Vienna" from reaching number one!

It meant nothing to him :)

Which you obviously don't remember - it was called "Vienna" and the lyric was "It means nothing to me, oh Vienna...." ;)

Robbie Williams? Perleeeease!

Not a particularly strong singer, certainly can't dance, and as for his alleged 'issues', well.

If you want to see someone who can write, sing, dance, and put on a show, try going along to a Will Young concert. Now THAT is one talented young man!

Never seen him live but I've got to agree he is an excellent singer!

Yep - I used the 'cutting and splitting logs for the fire in the freezing cold' method today.

I did the freezing water one but it had little effect.............so hair of the dog seeing as I am not at work till 2pm tomorrow

Some biased people on here dont like RW for some reason, but lets face it....He is the best singer/entertainer in the world today and its a fact........ who else is nearly half as good apart from no one, even Buble is only a voice on one octave but cant put on a decent show RW is 3 octaves and can fill stadiums worldwide.............so lets here your arguments about Britains Greatest singer (old and dead excluded please)

Oh Dear, you both have my sympathies, hope the men in white coats and electric shock treatment haven't done you permanent damage.:cuckoo:

whooo for booze and tp

as an entertainer tom jones is probably up there with varied styes and the fact that I like the track he did with chicane and me nan likes his old stuff and most people are somewhere in tee middle

generally I'm more or a placebo/radiohead/garbage type chap though so most of it makes me change sides

as opposed to RW who makes me want to drown things (including him)

bizzare doors stage atm actually

My opinion - he is a shambling mess with a poor voice, pants dance moves and one if the most insincere personalities I've ever had the misfortune to witness.

Oh my goodness, it's not April Fools day is it??

How about we throw in some real talent?

James Morrison
James Blunt
Stephen Fretwell
David Gray

And that's just thinking off the top of my head :D
