Jeez.. Another Cumbria?

Just drove back from Hawes via Leyburn through Kettlewell etc and I have never seen those rivers so close to bursting their banks and the roads were almost rivers themselves  Where the hell is all this water coming from? .....

Keep it up there i want my runway open in the morning lol !!

Hmm out the sky possibly:lol:

It was very wet up there yesterday, the meet at How Stean Gorge and Brimham Rocks didn't quite go as to plan due to the road up to the Gorge being only just passable so we decided it wasn't worth getting stuck up there.

I was glad to get in last night, road at Gargrave was quite badly flooded.

Embarassingly :$ I didn't take a single shot. Even worse as it was my first outing with new camera.

Water was spurting through the walls like mini fountains and up through the grids rather than going down them.

Spent a very nice afternoon in the station cafe at Bolton Abbey eating cake and drinking coffee watching it come down though.
