I've been under the weather for a few days and a lack of sleep has seen me watching all the episodes of 'River Monsters' on Netflix :D

Fantasic stuff and it's got me itching to get the old fishing gear out.

It is compulsive viewing Phil, I also like Robson`s series as well. I was also watching one of the Mr Crabtree goes fishing programmes on quest the other day.That took me back to when I first went out with my Uncle who was an avid Trout firsherman. Hope you feel better soon Phil :thumbs:
 
Wade I can enjoy because it's a bit hammed-up and designed to make it very accessible to non-anglers.

Robson Green has got better and he's less annoying these days.

Crabtree is like watching paint dry, Bailey does nothing for me as an angler. Total lack of dynamism.
 
I enjoy Robson's Extreme Fishing but I've never really been into sea fishing that much apart from holiday fishing.

I used to be into my course fishing but it died a death when I left the North West of England for Scotland in the mid 90s as it's mainly fly fishing around here.

These days I tend to just do a bit of spinning.

October I'll be fishing off the old logging pier at Lochaline. It's great fun and near to the cottage we stay in. A 100m drop off - quite a unique place more akin to boat fishing.

Underwater with his head in a big hole in the bank wrestling a giant fish he can only feel - whattttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
