RIP Omar Sharif

Dr, Zhivago, one of my favorite oldies. Boo:(

met him a few times. an ex girlfriends mum used to play bridge at a high level and she played with Omar and Liz Fraser ( not cocteau twins but the actress who was in a few carry on movies ) and they played a few times at her house.
 
I'm not a great movie fan, but I can still remember him riding out of the sun dazzle in Lawrence of Arabia. I must have been 9 or 10 at the time. Peter O'Toole died not all that long ago, so RIP both of you.
 
Dr Zhivago was an amazing film. I always have a tear in my eye when he dies at the end of the film, so poignant.
