I've just got myself a canon 100mm IS macro lens and I wondered whether I need a ring flash to get the best effects from it? I've never used a ring flash so would appreciate any advice. It's for use with a canon 550d. I don't have much of a budget after buying the lens (second hand) but would nevertheless appreciate some advice over which flash to go for?
