HELP!

I've been messing with this image for the past 20 mins now trying to straighten it up. Regardless what I do it just doesn't look right and it's driving me mad. I know the angle it's been taken from doesn't help matters, but I've tried several areas as a reference point and I'm just not getting anywhere.

Should I be looking at more than just a straight (pardon the obvious pun) forward straighten? If so, what?

It looks straight to me....try and pick a difficult subject to test your sen on next time, this one was too easy.
 
My sen? I don't follow?

D'you reckon it's fairly straight? I dunno, it still feels kinda wrong to me.

Looks straight to me, think it might be an optical illusion due to the sloping side. If anything I think the crop is a little close at the top.
 
Looks right to me, but there are too many angles and tapers on the subject to establish a reference point anyway, nothing suggests it looks wrong.
 
Really? Alright then, in light of expert opinion we'll leave it be.

Are you concerned that the edges of the memorial are not absolutely vertical in the image.?

If so you could use the Free Transform option in Photoshop, ( and I think it's in elements ) to make the edges parallel .
 
Looks ok to me too, although as Martyn says the crops a little close at the top for my taste.
 
The crop at the top is too close, unfortunately that's how I framed it at the time so I'm stuck with it until I reshoot it.

It's difficult to say how I feel about the 'straightness' of the image, but I just doesn't 'feel' right. Thing is though, so far everyone's said it's fine, so maybe it's just me and my untrained eye. :)
