Anybody around that area if you didn't already know they are planning to blow it up today at 9am. Should be good to capture but unfortunately I can't get down there.

Think I heard the explosion from here (whitstable) do you know why they demolished it?

I wanted to go there with camera in hand but I woke up at 6 am with a "stinking headache" and was feeling icky and so I went back to sleep. Now I feel absolutely fine! A real shame I wasn't there to see it happen, especially since the weather and light were spot on perfect for it.
It had to be demolished because it was simply becoming weak structural-wise.

They are going to be building what everyone wants. An eco farm or something eco. I was there absolutely tons of people down Ramsgate, wasnt expecting so many people to go down there.

Yeah just been told its to do with the wind farm they are building off of Thanet so it's probably going to be a sub station for it or something. It's a shame really I liked the towers.
