Richard Hammond likes photography!

How long has he been in Eastenders, must be 20 years, there aren't many people in one job for 20 years in any industry these days.

It must be difficult when it does end though, not just the money but finding another job and being constantly recognised as didn't you used to be XXX

I dont think he will get another acting job, will probably just focus on his career as a photographer. He has been cast as Ian for faaaaaaaaaaar to long and its something that he will never be able to shake off. Plus, I'm sure he has earnt his money now ;)

so aerial photography maybe ?

Who wants to see pictures of aerials?

I think Richard Hammond was a photographer/journalist before he started working in radio then TV.

How he managed to fit all that in and invent the tonewheel electronic organ, I'll never know!

Steve.

You have to keep things in perspective ....

a) The three stooges from Top Gear are admired by many here
b) Nikon is the camera of choice for serious photography
c) and this is the most important of them all ... many believe their gear to be an extension of their ego, not me of course :p

You sound like Ken Rockwell to me...

I remember seeing in the africa special him using a canon to take some of the views didn't know which untill now ***!

Ian Beale in Eastenders.......

There was an episode in EastEnders about a year ago when he was housebound with a broken leg after he slipped on spilt cooking oil in the cafe, and because he couldn't get out he amused himself by taking photos via Lucy's bedroom window and inadvertently took a picture of Phil Mitchell selling a gun to Max Branning.
I wonder if the camera used by Adam in that episode was actually his's in real life?

I'm going by what he says. BTW, he also owns and "runs" a pub not too far away from the studio...

Interesting, any idea which pub and where?
We used to live in a place called Radlett which isn't far from Elstree.
Pat St. Clement lives there as well and I did once here that Adam Woodyatt had been spotted there.

Eric Clapton is a brilliant photographer. Uses a Leica. As you can see here.

It's easily done with those stuipid cameras

What a way to treat a Leica!

Now, if it was a Canon, it might have been better to leave the lens cap on! (Can you get lens caps for milk bottles?)

A D3 owner would probably leave the cap on, crank up the ISO and still manage to resolve an image!

But you wouldn't expect an Olympus owner to make that mistake in the first place! :D

It's been a couple of years or more and I can't remember the name. I'm due to meet someone next month who may well remember, as they were there with me at the time. I'll ask them when I see them. Can't say I do "celebrities" so it tends to go in one ear and out the other at the time.

Nahh, I heard it was jimmy stewart's. :)
