Rich in Hospital

That's some bruise on his gut! Give him my regards if you have to see him again. Has he got his phone in there? I think I may still have his number.

I think they may be slinging him out this evening

This may be a result of me following the rules and not bringing in hard booze....

Steve

Gees....thats some bruise :(
Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

What's up with him? He's got another leg hasn't he?

Get well soon.:)

not an image I needed with my dinner - do we know who punched him in the gut before pushing him over , i'm sure ive seen some dodgy looking skinhead hanging around :whistling:

If I punched him in the gut, he wouldn't be in hospital but in a pine overcoat:D:D

I will just sort through the genuine offers of best wishes, and get back to the rest of you orrible bunch after  Thanks though, lost for words how I feel after looking forward to going back and contributing to the household bills. But thats life I suppose. Yesterday was a bit of a downer emotional wise, there I was broke down in tears whilst spoon feeding the old chap in the next bed to me who was struggling to lift a spoon to his mouth, it certainly puts life into perspective, when you read and listen to what some people whine on about on a daily basis ;) My sincerest thanks to Steve ( Hugh Jarse ) for making a fair old bus journey across to see me today. The biscuit supply could not have come at a better time

Well you at least had the deceny and refrained from saying "Thats some Gut" Nod  That was in fact the reaction from an anti blood clotting injection I had, due to being on the Aspirin for the heart. The ankle was dislocated and broken in two places pins and plates fitted at the moment.

I think it's oof and you WB is off, with bad fall off with a double exposure and with a big dust bunny in the centre

Stick to Robins

Hope this helps
H

Ummmm Nope.....

Hate phone cameras

Ward had no photography policy

Hence no DSLR

Hence no Tripod

Hence No flash stands

But thanks all the same..... :)

let this be a lesson to you - when frequenting darkened alleys if a dubious looking skin approaches don't introduce yourself by saying "Hi I'm Rich" that's just asking for trouble

Well, I'm hardly qualified to comment on a gut significantly slimmer than mine. I remember the nurses jabbing me with the same stuff every day I was in - stung like a supercharged hornet but only for a few seconds (and I'm not taking aspirin so didn't get the bruising like that). Hope the bruise settles out soon - should make for some weird macro shots (which should remain hidden in your secret HDD, never to be posted here. PLEASE!) - and that the ankle knits well and fast.

Maybe see you at some point.

Get well soon Rich - the Robins will be missing you :)

If we organise a fishing weekend, any chance you could complete the time without hurting yourself?

Rich

You'll do anything for attention - get well soon

PS leave the poor nurses alone ;) :D

Ah Rich bit of luck I was NOT there for you.
.. would have had too use the 'humane despatcherr" to ease the pain!

Would have been easier than getting you onto the flat!

Glad they tipped you out. Hope the journey home wasn't too bad. Got a lift back from Bath as SWMBO decided to cut work early!

Catch up with you Wednesday

Steve

Ooft that looks a sore one! Sorry I'm only just seeing this now :( Speedy healing!

Good job I wasn't around bag of peas and a couple of iboprufen would've been my diagnosis ;)

To be honest Sarah, this morning is the first time I have felt the pain, sore more than anything but hopefully that will ease off as it starts to mend.
Thanks

Give it a week and it'll start to itch like buggery (although itching isn't how I imagine buggery would feel...)

Yeh, it`s the itching that annoyed me when I had my arm in plaster years ago. Still better than that Brash being a thorn in my side ;) The wife just pointed out to me I should be taking 2 co codemol`s each time not the one like I have been doing
