RF-602 trigger not working please help

Had a shoot today, used my RF-602 triggers and for some reason they are not talking to the receiver. The lights on the transmitter work but when I press the transmitter the lights dont work on the receiver. Could it be the battery?
 
does the light on the tx stay on/ stay green?
if so the button is a bit bent, take the top off and rebend it

try batteries in the tx and rx

confirm the channels are the same?

When I press the button on the tx it goes both red and green and then off, the double pressure works fine.

Batteries are different in the tx and rx.

Channels are the same.
 
right so it's none of the issue's I've had then

not firing at all? I had one go off randomly cos it picked up somat else

erm I'll have a little ponder and get back to you, FiTP is worth a PM as he sorted me right out when I had the button issue
 
Is the red light flashing on the receiver when it is switched on?

Nope, usually when I press them the light on the tx goes off, but nothing at all

Did that earlier, nothing yet so im still hoping.
 
Are you sorted then?
 
Can you check the voltage on the CR-2?

You need to be careful when you pack away the tx as the button can be pressed down without your knowledge and then flatten the batt.

Are the tx and rx working now?

Just tried again and the first couple of preses, no, but after that yes.

I'll get a new battery and see if that works. Tesco should sell them but they might be super expensive.
