What aer peoples thoughts on these, i have just got a Canon 430EXII and want some wireless transmitters.

Will this still allow me to use TTL and HSS or will the flash ahve to be put into manual mode?

Thanks

Tyler

Mine can fire every single time from 50 meters away (only tested it to that far!) @1/250th.
Never had a single misfire / problem with them. IMO it is definitely worth saving yourself a few hundred quid if you can live with manual!

Cheers, just ordered.

Just not sure if 250 will be fast enough for the bikers i take pics of, their mad. New to flash but heard all about flash freezing the action so hopefully they will be good.

Thanks Guys,

Tyler

Speedlites have much faster flash duration than 1/250 :) so it should be okay, google the flash duration for your flash to see more details ;)

If flash is your main source of light, yes it freezes the action.
If you have too much ambient, you'll see it bleed in to the exposure.

Buy, practice, learn, read, ask questions, practice, learn... It's the only way.

I would recommend starting with some threads on here about flash lighting. If using it as fill, you will need a high iso to freeze a biker with your shutter rather than your flash.

Ok cheers, i will keep an eye out around the lighting section n check it regularly.

Expect loads of questions soon :naughty:
