I clicked on the 'reviews' section above hoping to look at some film reviews, or 35mm camera reviews, and was disheartened to find not a single film-related entry :( (unless I'm missing something) - do the mods think there a possibility of adding a category or two? :)

Sure, I'd like to see reviews of film and film gear too, but there's nothing to stop people posting them at the moment. The review forum isn't very active anyway, and I'm not sure that adding another section would make any difference?

Well a film camera body only connects a lens to a human brain, so less important compared to digital. So you can download a manual for nearly every film camera and see the specs....more important is things that can go wrong over time e.g. Yashica frame counter or Minolta capacitor failure, which might not be in a review but could be answered here or on google.
Handling any camera is a personal thing and some people love differently makes of cameras so a review wont help much there either. Well that just leaves lenses or film which is very important ...erm well lenses have manufacturing variations in quality (even for the same lens) so you can't always believe one review ;)

That's true, not much activity on there regardless. Ah well, it was a thought! Thanks for the replies guys.
