Reversing ring

Got a reversing ring today and when I fitted it and switched on the camera a message comes up and says lens not attach..

That's what I'd expect. You should be able to shoot in manual though.

Thanks I've just figured that out but now its saying to dark and the flash won't work, it's telling me to change settings or fit a CPU lens.
