Reusable rocket not as reusable as planned

They've said a leg strut failed to lock on landing, and that's why it toppled over. Still, even coming close to landing a rocket on a floating barge is an incredible feat of engineering! I also like that the barges are named after Culture Ships from Iain M Banks' books - "Just Read The Instructions" and "Of Course I Still Love You".

The successful landing was on dry land I believe, although they're not going to re-use it, they're going to put it in their museum.

You can see the strut collapsing in the video.

That's a real shame. Seen it on the news, so nearly perfect. I'm still very impressed by that engineering

Land it sideways instead.

Hope it's warranty hadn't expired.

The failure looked to be for a 'trivial' reason, rather than failure to land the thing properly, so it *should* be entirely possible to fix it.
