If you are returning good that were sent out but are the wrong goods, and you need to return them would you expect your postage to have it sent out to be refunded ? :)

Certain retailers don't even ask that you return the incorrect item. It's essentially an unsolicited item which should be treated as being that your ordered item had not arrived at all. As far as returning it goes, you should, but I'm pretty sure your obligations as far as that goes are absolutely minimal.

It really depends on what was ordered, where from and the time scales of notifying the suppliers and their response to you.

Also depends I beleive where you purchased from ie. UK or outside as other countries may have differant conditions. For example many sellers from China state that postage is not refunded but within the UK (and I may be wrong) if you receive faulty or wrong item/s the law is that the seller must pay all costs.

If it was their error, they would have to refund you in full, including any postage you paid.

I had Amazon send me a load of ink cartridges once. I phoned them up and said that I hadn't ordered them, but the guy whose name was on the enclosed invoice probably had. The following conversation followed.....

Amazon: "OK, Thanks. What we need you to do is package the goods, print out the label we're going to email you. Then attach the label and take it to your nearest...."
Me: "Nope. That's not what you need me to do, it's what you want me to do. What will happen is that you will send a courier here on Monday afternoon to collect them".
A: "We can't promise they'll come on Monday".
M: "Well, I'll be here on Monday from 13:00 to 16:00."

Nobody arrives on Monday.

M: "Somebody was supposed to be coming to pick these goods up today and they didn't. I'll be in on Wednesday from 10:00 to 12:00. If nobody comes to collect them between those times then I'm going to leave them outside on the doorstep and you can come and get them whenever you want".

Courier arrives 10:05 Wednesday.

Don't let them muck you about to fix their mistake.
