I bought my wife an ipad cover from that auction site. When it arrived it stunk something rotten. A fishy smell??
Anyway, contacted the seller and they said,
We request you to please send the item back to us by using the free Return Procedure which is explained Below and when we receive the item back we will contact you and resolve your matter in the way you will like . FREE RETURN PROCEDURE :- For sending the item back please use envelope in which you have received your order ,Put the item in the envelope with a short note explaining your issue and reseal it .After resealing cross out your name and address and circle the return address and write at the top of the envelope "RETURN TO SENDER " and then drop it in the nearest post box .There is no need to use a new stamp or going to post office . This procedure will be totally free of cost you need not to worry about the postage cost . Once the item posted back please inform us . We will wait for your reply . Thanks
I told them I am not doing this as I would have no proof of postage (on their feedback people have said they never got a refund this way). I said I wanted a returns label or a freepost address.
Out of interest, If you do send something back in the post with RETURN TO SENDER on it, who pays for that? Is it even legal to do it this way?
