... As my continuing saga of weird and wonderful drunken purchases increase,I have discovered an old passion which has fallen to the wayside...cue arrival of record player, Benny Goodman, Glenn Millar, the sex pistols and various other classic vinyl......#inheaven

Let the good times roll :D

Never got rid of mine.
Still have a huge vinyl collection and it's played regularly.

Likewise, I still have my fully functioning Sharp stacking system complete with a turntable - and in fact, I am waiting on a delivery of a brand new Jean Michel Jarre/Tangerine Dream collaboration vinyl LP.

Rega Planar 3 with the legendary RB 300 tonearm, Ortofon 2m blue cart and Croft Micro pre.

wow that's what I used to have with a Goldring 1042 cartridge.
I got rid of all my high end hifi about 6 years ago and I do miss it sometimes but I found my needs changed and wanted to spend more time out of the house so moved to high end portable devices, currently have an Astell and Kern AK120 :-)

I don't personally have a collection but my sister does. She must have a good 3000 records of every known musician and the types of record range from small floppy ones to the regular 12 inch ones...that sounds so bad.

I do have a player though. It's part of a big hifi unit with the player on top. The other parts are for radio, cassette and cd. Still use it every day and not managed to fine anything to replace it with. Hooked it up to various amps and speakers for the TV.

Still got all my vinyl collection, some of it goes back to the 1960's. My hi-fi is getting on for 25 years old but still sounds excellent: Linn turntable, Creek amp, Linn Index speakers.
