RESULT: Cowasaki's growing roots TP competition

Well we're half way through the month now so still a couple of weeks to get those entries in!

Well... I've found him... I knew all along where my little childhood companion was, but he's a rabbit and therefore excluded... The bear got misappropriated into the kids cuddly box...
 
Well there are currently just 10 entries in the normal competition thread and none in the junior one.

Come on Junior members, you must be able to get a teddy for a shoot and also make sure you normal members get your entries in.

I have the one picture of a Teddy Bear, taken in the marina in Swansea; for the life of me, I have no idea why I shot it :shrug:. It's neither a theme I like, nor a subject of interest, but I will check-it out tonight and post it. Who know :suspect:, thunder may strike :)

Then a day or two to judge them.

Mrs_C is just making the wedding jewellery for her niece so I will send the prize out about a week or so after that once she has the wedding stuff out of the way.

Only just spotted this thread, so i have hastily stuck an entry in for fun.

I was once chased by a bear in America while visiting my wifes relatives and ever since they keep reminding me of the incident by posting me toy bears every now and again.

The general advice is that when being faced by a bear just stand your ground and dont move, sod that mate he was about 20 yards away in the woods when i saw him coming fast through the undergrown making a bee line for me, pure fear gripped me and i turnd and ran like hell down a steep path, stumbled over once lost my glasses and grazed up my face, got up and ran out in the road at the side of the woods, looked round and he was just looking down the path and turned round and walked back into the woods

I now know what real fear is :gag:

He He Ive entered my bear photo ita A little bear cotton reel holder, I made Julie for our 5th wedding anniversary (wood) in 1981

Changed my image as it was really a teddy, so I had to get Joshua to hold his teddy without chucking it LOL
 
Got my entry in just in time :thumbs:

Been planning this for two weeks but needed both models to turn up at the same time and sober!

Went for the 70's look.

Thank you so much Darren for providing an interesting and tricky theme! And I apologise now if a NSFW tag gets slapped on.... :lol:
 
Changed my image as it wasn't really a teddy, Changed it to one of our grandson Joshua with his teddy

first I had to get Joshua to hold his teddy without chucking it LOL

Just realised that I must be on here quite a bit when I noticed that this was a month long competition celebrating reaching 8000 posts...... I seem to have added a few to that in one month :thinking:

Competition threads open till midnight and then I will ask that they are closed and print them.

Sorry any late entries must be excluded.......

I'm surprised that there were NO entries in the junior competition. We are looking at the entries now but there is a difference of opinion at the moment......

I have to admit that I thought there'd be more entries but I was also shocked that there were no entries at all for the junior comp - especially with the influx of junior members recently :(
 
It is a real shame that and especially with it being a theme junior members should have been able to come up with. Oh well!

We will look at them again later and try and come to a decision. I know which two are my favourites :) Been a bit busy with the Wheels appeal etc and building the studio (which is now finished :thumbs:)
