Resizing Photos for the Web

I am a moderator on a shooting and hunting related forum and quite a few of the guys have problems resizing photos to go on the web site. Most are not really interested in Photography and don't have anything like Elements...

Does anybody know of any free, downloadable programes which makes resizing pictures easy?

there is a M$ powertoy if your using XP
 
i agree with Brunnie, its butchers the file but it works!
 
I suspect that people will be will running a variety of different operating systems, so i was hoping to find a small stand alone program that would be as widely compatible as possible...
 
You might like to give this program a try, maybe play around with it a bit, it resizes and few other handy operations and filters. It was developed by a young man from Bosnia and it has a lot to offer, it really is quite a handy program. Oh yes, and it is free ! :clap:
