resizing....help!!!!

I currently use nations photo lab for my printing but on some of the images it c7ts off too much of the photo. Ive tried everything I know to resize it to fit but no luck. Can someone please direct me on what im doing wrong..thanks in advance

The usual problem is to do with aspect ratios of the image versus the paper.

A typical Point and Shoot camera produces an image with an aspect ratio of 4:3. (Width to Height).

A typical paper size is 6" x 4" which is a 3:2 ratio, so the 4:3 wont fit exactly.

You should consider the image format and paper format you are using and if necessary crop the image, using something like Photoshop, to the same aspect ratio as the paper you intend to use.

It all depends on the ratio of the sensor and the ratio of the print, which need to be a close as possible to get as much of the image printed.

It all depends on the ratio of the sensor...

Just to be super-picky, it depends on the digital image format. I have one camera that can produce 4:3,3:2 or 16:9 images from the same sensor

In which case you can crop in the Develop module, if aspect ratios are your problem.
