Hello, I have a quick request.
Does anyone out there have a good quality large format negative they would be prepared to send me for a short time? Ideally one colour and one black and white. The image doesn’t have to be national geographic standard but should be nice and sharp and have a good range of tones/colours.
The reason?
I have a large scanner that is supposed to be able to chuck out some serious quality and so far I have only played with medium format negatives. I’m still learning scanning stuff and would be interested in seeing what I can get out of a larger negative. I need to invest in a new scanning bed and before spending the cash I would like to be assured that it’s worth it in the long run (I may even get into large format at some point)
I’m happy to stick scans on disc and send back as it would be interesting to see how those scans then compare to other peoples results.
