Hey all,
Im looking for a Film SLR body to replace my Canon 50E as I do not have any Canon lenses anymore ;D

Could you please suggest me any models that could fit my current nikon lenses ?
Ive seen nice bodies on eBay but some of them are just too expensive...so all advise welcome :)

Auto and AF: Nikon F60, approx £20 - 30
Manual: Nikkormat, similar price

I was looking on F60 on eBay last night...
so you say it is good ? I do not need anything special :) just to be working with lenses I have :)

50E was pleasure to use.

Im still looking for a cheap lens to fit it on :)

The F60 or F65 is a good choice and if you need a lens, look for the camera coupled with either a Nikkor 28-80mm, 35-80mm or the 35-70mm, I have placed the lenses in my order of merit and the 28-80mm G lens makes the Nikon top ten best ever lenses in Ken Rockwell's opinion, love him or hate him.

What lenses do you have?

35 f2 and 105 DC at the moment
this 28-80 would be good for walkabout :)
Need to decide now if I want to buy extra film body and this walkabout lens for it ( or just stick 35 on it) or buy walkabout lens for Canon body....simillar lenses can be bought for around £50....

anyone here looking for Canon film body ? ;)

Don't think there is anything with eye control (not that you asked). I love that about my 50e though.

The F60 + 28 - 80mm AF Nikon is my preferred camera if autofocus is needed. Paid about £20 - 25 inc. lens, although I may have got lucky you can certainly pick up a body for that price. IMO it's better built than the price point competitors I've tried and obviously takes all Nikon lenses - with program limitations for manual focus versions. The AF is prompt too, which is important.

Just got in from shooting street scenes at a food and drink fest and it did what was required.

thanks for this link :) it was really useful

So I took a plunge and just bought Nikon F90x with grip :) for £59 ;D including p&p so I think it is good price for this kit

Should give it a go on next TP meet as I plan to take it as my only camera for the day :)
