Replacing the D300 Eyepiece

Hi there,

Has anyone replaced the rubber surround to the viewfinder on the D300. I for some reason sometimes I find the standard one doesn't quite fit to my eye as I'd like.

Anyone know of some good 3rd party/or Nikon solutions I could try?

You can get aftermarket ones on ebay for around £4, and various Nikon ones like the magnifier ones at about £35 or so....

Cheers but that's more for a magnifier my issue is the the eyecup bit itself, I find the standard one not all that comfortable.

Which quite frankly looks stupid but for the price might be worth a punt if it helps!

I've heard that a particular Olympus Rubber Eyecup fits very well. That was somewhere on DPreview..

I'll see if I can find the post concerned.

Cheers that would be really helpful! I've order the other one at the huge sum of £7! So not afraid to try another if that works better! lol
