I've got a photo with a very boring sky and I am trying to replace it with one with clouds in. There are lots of trees in the photo making selecting the original sky and then pasting into not possible without it looking stupid.

I've now put the new sky just above the tree line but have the original light blue sky in the tree branches and surrounding and the new dark blue sky above it with a hard defined line between the 2. I've tried the replace colour brush but it's blending the colours so when I try and 'paint' the new sky colour onto the the original sky it's miles off.

Is there a way of telling it the colour I want and then the colour it must change but without blending? I've googled and tried lots of different ways but can't get what I want.

Thanks in advance.

It would be simple if the tress didn't have sky going through them. I tried magic wand selection then paste into but it left bits inbetween the trees. All I want to do is dropper select the dark blue colour, dropper select the light blue and tell it to paint one over the other as I use to be able to do in Paintshop pro.
