Replacement Flash Bulbs

Hey guys,

any idea where I can find a replacement pop-up flash bulb for a Canon 400D?
...and, how easy are they to fit?

Never really seen them for sale. i can imagine though they will be hard to replace. maybe try getting a cheap jessops external flash to get by for now.

umm, the camera gets a real hammering and is probably used about every hour, or so, 24/7.
maybe it's time they invested in a decent flashgun. only problem is that many people have to use it, and they want it to be as "point-and-click"able as possible to stop people getting confused.

I have never heard of an onboard flash tube going belly up. Are you sure it is the tube?. unless of course you have physically broken it.

Doesn't look physically broken, but I guess it could be. the flash pops up in auto/macro mode etc, and if you press the flash button, but never fires.
