Replacement clamp plates for Manfrotto 410 Junior Gear Head?

Just get an Arca-Swiss clamp from Amazon/Ebay - £10-15. Then screw it directly to the Manfrotto QR plate.

It's a very popular solution (I use it) and it's basically identical to the Hejnar conversion. Search google images and you'll see loads of examples.

The Henjar conversion replaces the removable QR plate from the 410 with a fixed plate - the cheaper eBay adaptors leave you with both systems as far as I can tell (IE you still have the original release lever, and could remove the whole Manfrotto plate + Arca-Swiss clamp assembly by releasing it). I had discounted this as a solution, as it seemed less secure.

Is having both in place not an issue, or is there a cheap ebay kit with both replacement plate and clamp?

The Hejnar conversion is more elegant, as it replaces the Manfrotto plate and quick-release mech, with a permanent fixture. That's the only difference really - simply screwing an Arca-Swiss type clamp to the Manfrotto QR plate works in exactly the same way (and retains the Manfrotto QR mechanism). It's no less secure than the standard Manfrotto system, ie very secure.

I've not seen one.
