Does anybody know where I can source some at a decent price? I have a grip which takes two of them. Also curious about the ones you see advertised
2000/mAh, are they worth bothering with and will they charge ok with the original charger I got with the camera, or is it best to stay with Canon`s own? Any advice appreciated
 
The ones from 7dayshop are excellent, I've been using them in my 300D/30D & 50D :thumbs:

I bought mine from 7dayshop, cheap and do the job.
 
another choice is from phottix i got mine with my 3rd party grip. never had a problem.
 
I got mine from 7dayshop, if I need any more I'll be getting them from there - so far both the ones I've got seem to last longer than the Canon original. They charge fine with the 50D charger.
 
I have 2 duracell ones that seem to last a bit longer than the canon one. I think I got them from Amazon, they were far cheaper than the canon battery.
