Replacement 2.5 inch LCD screen needed!

Hi guys,

Hopefully someone who knows alot more about cameras than me can help!

I need to find a replacement 2.5inch LCD screen for my Konica Minolta Dimage X60 as it unfortunately has a crack in it.

I have managed to remove the screen itself without damaging any connections or cables so hopefully it should be an easy job to replace the screen - I just can't find one! Will any 2.5in LCD work or does it need to be a special model?

I suspect you will need the exact same model that you took out. Any screen might physically fit, but there are likely to be microchips that need to work as well. If I was you, I would email Konica Minolta and see if they stock spares.

I would try this route, i have fixed so many laptops, cameras, psp's etc doing this

Sony now do all repairs on Konica Minolta cameras.

The model is about 2 1/2 years old now, you'd be cheaper buying a new camera unless you happen to find a second hand unit about.
