Hi
I annoyingly managed to scuff the paint off a corner of the base of my 6D when I fell down some steps in Norway (no, I had not been drinking!). My left leg was strapped in hospital and I can barely walk, but am more concerned about my camera. The good news is the camera and lens still work perfectly well.
I wondered whether there was any special paint that could be purchased to cover the mark. It is only a small one - about 1.5mm square, but looks huge to my eye.
Be grateful for any ideas.

Did this with mine too. I was pretty impressed a tiny scuff was the only damage after getting out of my car assumed the strap was on my shoulder and it wasn't. Fell right onto the pavement and I almost had a heart attack... :P

Hi. Try Birchwood Casey Matt Black Paint Pen, they are excellent for touching up cameras, grips, lens etc. find them on eBay, £6.49

Or, grab a silicone body glove to prevent further scrapes, plus it will cover up the original battle scars :)

Think I'd be opting for a black marker pen just to dull the scratch if it's really standing out to you - you'll still see it if you look at it, but won't be as obvious.

Hope the leg gets better...

Hi Thanks to all.
Tried the marker pen and it seems to have done a very acceptable job. So, camera much better; leg still painful and swollen.
Aren't the Talk Photography members great!
