ok the time is fast approaching when she will be leaving this lovely land so what are we going to arrange to say goodbye for a while to a lovely woman, so all ideas welcomed. And maybe another trip out for a meal or something like?
I definitely want to do another curry night before I go as I will be going through withdrawals! We went to the grocery store to see if they had any curry sauces and they do but they don't even have a Korma sauce. On the plus side they have a British food section so I can get my HP sauce. I'm telling you it isn't a civilised country.
Wow! I could have 2 au pairs! I'd be one lucky lady. Unfortunatley I believe you have to be under 23.... and while you are both young I don't think you are that young. Anyway Marcel I think you wife and children need you and Sue well I know it is tough living with Matt but you did sign on for the long haul
Ok then, we must sort something out otherwise she will be gone without us saying farewell, I hope she will keep in touch from the USA but wont be the same.
So ideas and dates please people.
I leave 2 July - I do have a couple of leaving dos already so these are the dates I'm not available:
23 June
29 June
you don't realise how in demand you are till you leave... personally I just think ya'll are relieved to be rid of me. Of course you aren't really rid of me as I'll still come on here just from a different time zone.
HMMM by looking at the satellit view my house used to have a pool and deck. I hate pools with small children so I can understand getting rid of that but why would you take down a deck.
just out of interest on the map put get directions to here and put in your post code the route tells me to go to france and swim the ocean lol for 3000 miles
How about either the 15th or 16th of June? Maybe we could do a mini meet before that somewhere like last time so I can go to one last meet before I leave.
Hey Sue, thanks for the link. Love the recipe idea. I have not been to this indian before. Love the Kashmir, Akbars and Bharat (excuse spelling on all!) myself though! In fact, I think thats where tea is coming from tonight now . . .
My partner is from Queensbury so I spend a lot of time there. Normally every Wednesday night. Just on a train coming back from Edinburgh to Leeds and then to Bradford Forster Square. Much prefer commuting from Leeds than Warrington or Crewe!
errrrrrmmmmm excuse me, great though this is, can we get back to arranging our curry for renee. the more the merrier. what date have we decided on? or have we not got that far yet?
