renamed images but not shown in order

I am having a spot of bother that is starting to really frustrate me.
When I export from lightroom, I rename with a new filename and sequential number.

For example, for the last wedding I did the filename format was susie&sean1, susie&sean2, susie&sean3 etc...........

On the pc thats fine, but when I copy them onto my tablet, it all goes squiffy. The order it displays them is something like

You get the idea. It ends up showing the images in an order that jumps around. I can see the pattern it is following, but how on earth do I get it to order the images like a human being, not a bloody robot?

yup thats right. you need to set them as 01, 02, 03... 10, 11 etc.

youll probably need to create a custom file naming scheme in the export dialogue and select the "0001" option (I keep it this high in case of exporting large batches) under the sequence list.

Hmm, i was wondering that. But can't remember seeing that option in the lightroom export module. I shall have to have another look tonight. Cheers.

LR5 but its much the same cross versions..

On the rename to box select Edit, give the Preset a new name, select sequence 0001 and insert fields into the relevant order

On my OH's iPad - whatever you do it displays them in order of "date / time edited" - and there is no way round it without a 3rd party app - sure it's not the same effect on Android?
