Hi guys,

Just done a pregnancy shoot and am needing to remove her stretchmarks (her request)

Anyone any tips for doing this in photoshop? I have CS5.

I have tried creating a gaussian blur layer of the bump but it doesnt look right.

Below is a couple of examples straight out of the camera, feel free to have a go and let me know how you went about it.

Cheers, Dan

I've had a quick go at the colour one. I used the clone stamp tool with the blend mode set to "lighten colour" to get rid of the dark marks, and "darken colour" to get rid of the light marks each time I selected the source point very close to the stretch mark. To finish I used the portraiture plugin to help to smooth the skin a little.

Edit looks decent on my macbook air

Really nice edit Dale, I did try using the clone tool but probably didn't get the brush small enough and looks like I need to learn how to use the blend modes.

Cheers

That is really quite amazing.

I'm impressed (as is my wife! If only it were that easy in real life....)

Personally, I don't get it. Does the subject want a photo of herself, or not
