I took a pano of a friend fish tank yesterday but didnt notice the glare from a window thats on the left hand side,

Is there anyway to remove it, ive tried the dodge/burn tool but it seems to darken the whole area and makes it stand out more.

any help would be much appreciated,
I use CS3

That would be incredibly difficult to remove
You could try selecting the area with glare in it using quick mask and then tinkering with the colour balance and brightness to make it less noticable.

Or if you have the option to reshoot you could go back with a circular polariser and use that to stop the glare in the first place.

Whilst not impossible to remove it is going to be very very time consuming.

I would as suggested reshoot. However you may find a circular polarising filter may not totally eliminate the reflections. If you can try masking of the tank with a dark cloth suspended behind you and shielding the tank from the reflection of the window. Alternatively shoot when it is dark and the room lights are turned off, ( except those illuminating the tank )
