Can anyone advise me please, I have a 50' mast that I want to operate a camera on remotely, not just stills but short movie clips as well.
I have a Canon PowerShot Pro 1, I do like it, but..it doesn't have the facility using the ZoomBrowser software, to operate from a laptop for video clips.
I have a pan & tilt head and want to pan & record slowish moving machinery.
Would anyone here be able to offer advice on which camera, any make really, that would offer this facility other than a camcorder?
Remote can be cable or preferably wireless.
I'm stuck, it's a massive complicated lot out there and I'd like an honest opinion rather than the hands on Sales Pitch I seem to be getting from retailers.
