i've just bought a ML-L3 for my Nikon D60, is this all i need for it to work on a tripod as i suspect from looking at the back of PhotographyMonthly in the adverts i might need some sort of adaptor to make it work by infra red ?

i've never seen a D 60 but presuming i'ts the same as D50/40/80 then the ML-L3 will do the job on i'ts own..

near the bottom of this page & there's no mention of an adaptor

dare i ask have you RTFM ? ;)

have you tried it at all ?

bear in mind the receiver sensor and the remote need to be in line with each other.

any obstruction in the way such as the lens & they wont play .

i just picked up this remote trigger today and it doesnt need to be in line, i was pointing it away from the camera, from the front side and back and it worked fine :)

aaarrgh so they improved the remote release performance on the D 60 then ..

i know the D 80 can do that yet with the D 40 the remote NEEDS to point direcly at the sensor or thereabouts ..
