Hi people, this may sound like a stupid question but what's the difference between the canon rc-5 and rc-6? Also any preference of use with 500d?

The RC-6 allows 2 second delay mode, the RC-5 doesn't.

The RC-1 will also work with the 500D and can be found for about £10 on ebay.

thanks Michael, think i may go for the rc-6, price isnt too much more (£14.50 @ 7 day shop)
