REMOTE EXTENTION

Is it possible to extend the connection cord between a Canon RS80N3 remote lead and camera so that the camera can be fired from a greater distance, say 10-15m ?

probably will get a remote but am awaiting delivery of RS80N3 in the post. Having bought on TP, I did not know if there was a longer lead, but it will do for now.

Length of flex from Tandy (3-core I think) with stereo mini-jacks on either end, and you've got a detachable extension any length you like.

Thanks Richard, but was wondering if there was any problem in lengthening the lead, (signal strength) or is it simply a straight contact switch. If not I can put it together.
